 Mardi Gras mean music, parades, picnics, floats, excitement … and one immense holiday in New Orleans! Everyone is wearing purple, green, and gold; and decked out in beads caught from stunning floats. To New Orleanians, “Mardi Gras” specifically refers to the Tuesday before lent, the highlight of the season.

I have spent the last 8 months of my life writing the Cajunlicious Cookbook, and now it’s published and for sale right here on Cajunlicious!

I had so much fun cooking, eating, and writing Cajunlicious All Things Cajun and am so proud of this cookbook. It is a reflection of the website and a collection of authentic Cajun recipes that I grew up eating and still cannot get enough of, such as crab dip, crawfish bread, gumbo, jambalaya, and beignets. Some are on the blog and some are secret family recipes passed down the generations.
